GET STARTED ON THE HCG DIET

There are 3 PHASES to the HCG DIET. PHASE 1 is 2-4 weeks before the diet, PHASE 2 is the actual diet, and PHASE 3 is the 3 weeks after the diet. You will feel best if you complete all 3 phases, but only PHASE 2 and PHASE 3 are required to avoid regaining weight. Click the tab on top for info on PHASE 1 and PHASE 3. Here we will only discuss the actual diet PHASE 2 only, and products that can be used during the HCG DIET.

Start by determining how much weight you need to lose. If you need to lose 20 lbs or less, you would choose a 3 week diet and would need a 1oz bottle of HCG. If you need to lose more than 20 lbs, choose a 2oz bottle that will last up to 6 weeks. Other products can be added depending on specific needs.

CHOOSE A HCG DIET PRODUCT

There are 2 basic homeopathic formulas. HCG DETOX, MEDIRAL FORMULA which is only HCG and WEIGHT LOSS FORMULA, which is HCG plus 3 amino acids. They both work the same as far as weight loss goes. You will find additional info on the two versions under the product description.

ADD SOME SUPPLEMENTS?

If you are doing a 3 week diet, you may not need any supplements, but for longer diets, it is a good idea to add some of the following: B COMPLEX to help support your weight loss and and prevent fatigue. AMINO ACID COMPLEX if you have any muscle weakness or if you have been used to exercising.

HOW ABOUT EXERCISE?

It is recommended that you do only light exercise while doing the HCG Diet. Walking, Yoga ,Pilates, lighter weight lifting (resistance) is great to keep up your strength. Stay away from high calorie burning exercises (ex. Running, aerobics). Over exercising will cause the body to go into starvation mode and hold on to the fat, fighting against the hCG.

IS THE HCG DIET A LOW CALORIE?

The calories you eat on the HCG diet protocol are low, typically 500 calories a day. The good news is that you are rarely hungry. This is because HCG mobilizes fat for energy. In order to lose a pound a day, you must burn almost 2500 calories of stored fat, so this is technically NOT a low calorie diet. I have lost 75 lbs on this diet and many of my friends have done well on it too. I was never hungry while on the diet, but I do know of a few cases where hunger was a problem. Usually a homeopathic formula to help support blood sugar fluctuations is all that’s needed or a few extra drops of HCG.

KEEP TRACK OF YOUR WEIGHT

It is important to weigh yourself and keep track of your success. You will want to weigh yourself when you first get up in the morning after you have emptied your bladder.
